Getting Started

If you’d like to check my availability or talk to me about the idea of starting therapy, please reach out by text, email, or by clicking the “contact me” button above.

It’s helpful if you can write a few sentences describing your situation and why you are seeking therapy. I check my messages frequently and will get back to you within the next business day or two.

Whether I have immediate availability or not, I’m happy to schedule a brief introductory zoom session, during which we can see how it feels and talk about the possibility of working together. 

If it seems like a good fit, we can then discuss scheduling options. I typically meet with clients once a week. Once we start meeting for regular sessions, I will provide you with the necessary paperwork and we will begin the process of getting to know each other. I like to think of the first few weeks as a trial period during which you can get a sense of whether it feels right to proceed with an ongoing course of therapy.
